The Career Guidance and Placement Cell, in association with the Department of Commerce and Management, St. Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, organised a career guidance session titled “Navigating the Network: An Introduction to Supply Chains, Logistics, and High-Demand Roles” on 21 August 2026. The session was conducted by Mr. Naveen Nayak, Founder and Managing Director, Abhimo Technologies Private Limited, Mangalore.
The session aimed to familiarise students with the dynamic field of supply chain management and logistics and to create awareness about the growing career opportunities in the sector. Mr. Naveen Nayak provided valuable insights into the functioning and importance of supply chains, logistics operations, and the various roles available in the industry. He explained how efficient supply chain management contributes to the smooth movement of goods and services and plays a vital role in business growth and customer satisfaction.
The resource person also highlighted the increasing demand for skilled professionals in logistics and supply chain management. Students were introduced to the skills and competencies required to pursue careers in this field, including communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, coordination, and adaptability.
