20 NSS Volunteers of St Agnes College(Autonomous) participated in the “Larvae killing activity” at St Agnes College Campus on 1st August 2019 at 3.50 pm. 7 different sources (plastic cups ,plastic plates, tender coconut shells, tins, buckets , containers, flower pots )were checked for retention of water to prevent the breeding of mosquitoes responsible for diseases like dengue and malaria. The volunteers emptied all the sources of water retention and cleaned the area. They also discarded unwanted material which can be a source of water retention in the dustbins .The cleaning activity got over at 5.30pm.
