We, at St. Agnes (Autonomous) College, Mangaluru stand with pride today as we honour and congratulate our students of B.Com (Professional Batch) for clearing CA foundation exam, a milestone in their journey of being CA Professionals. We look up to the almighty with gratitude, staying humble amidst our achievements and celebrate the moment as we persevere to achieve higher goals.

Like Millie DeWitt said “Preparation to success is hard work of daily practice with improvement”. Our students and teachers worked, read and practiced together every single day to make this feat possible. The journey of a ‘Chartered Accountant’ begins with ‘Hardwork’ stepping into everyday ‘Practice’ and learning with ‘Quality’ while staying ‘dedicated’ through the years. Our students have proved that they are in this journey with their college and with each other. Through their support for each other and the blessings of the Alma Mater, we have achieved a result of more than 50% of our students accomplishing their first milestone in the CA career in their very first attempt.

On 19 January, 2022 the students of B.Com (Professional Batch) who cleared their CA foundation exam in their first attempt were felicitated by the Department of Commerce, St Agnes College (Autonomous) and The Accountant – a team of Chartered Accountants training the professional batch. Sr Dr Venissa A C, Principal, St Agnes College addressed the gathering on the occasion and congratulated all the students for their accomplishment. She highlighted on the importance of perseverance and hard work and encouraged the students of the professional batch to take up the exams with assurance and commitment. Principal then felicitated all the student achievers.

CA Daphny Stella D’Souza, guest faculty, St Agnes College addressed the gathering and congratulated all the students. She expressed words of gratitude and thanked all the faculty who were involved in training the students.
