The P.G. Department of Chemistry of St Agnes College organized a session on the topic ‘RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES IN GERMANY’ on 5 February 2020. Dr Anjana Devi, Professor, Inorganic Materials Chemistry, Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany and also an alumna of St Agnes College was the resource person. She shared her research knowledge and the work done in inorganic material chemistry specifically in the synthesis of Advanced Materials. She also guided the students about the research opportunities available in Germany and the process to be followed inorder to do a Masters or Doctarate in Germany. She also enlightened the gathering about the various fellowsips offered by Europe and specially by Germany. Sr Dr Vinora A.C. the P.G. Coordinator was also present for the event. The audience included students from U.G. and P.G. Departments of Chemistry as well as from other departments. The programme ended by a vote of thanks delivered by Ms Gloria.
