The Department of Hindi, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organised a National Level Webinar on the topic ” तकनीकी क्षेत्र में हिन्दी भाषा का महत्व “(Relevance of Hindi in Technical Area) on 21 May 2020.
Mr Santosh Kumar, Assistant Director, Hindi Teaching Scheme, Hyderabad was the Resource person .The session was held in collaboration with the Central Hindi Training Sub- Institute, Hyderabad, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.
Sr Dr M. Venissa A. C.,Principal, St Agnes College, inaugurated the webinar and spoke of the increasing prominence of Hindi in the field of Information Technology.
Dr R Nagesh, HOD and convenor of the webinar welcomed the participants to the session.
A total of 192 delegates attended the webinar from across the nation and from Nepal and Dubai. Dr Shailaja H G proposed the vote of thanks. The participants appreciated the organisers for conducting a very informative webinar on a highly relevant topic.
