On 8th July 2025, St. Agnes College conducted an outreach session at a Kannada Medium School as part of the ATC (Agnes Towards Community) initiative. The event aimed to create awareness about healthy eating habits among school children. Students from the BBA department and B.Com ACCA actively participated in organizing and delivering the session.

The session began with a lively “Simon Says” warm-up game to energize the students. This was followed by a video presentation highlighting the difference between healthy and unhealthy foods. An engaging activity was held where students competed to name the maximum number of fruits in one minute, encouraging both fun and learning.

An informative session was conducted by Mrs. Prema, who spoke about the benefits of healthy foods and the importance of avoiding unhealthy choices. The B.Com ACCA students organized creative and interactive games such as “Guess the Fruit and Vegetable by Touch” and an action song based on fruits, which received great enthusiasm from the school children.

To further reinforce the theme, the BBA students presented a powerful mime drama on food wastage, spreading awareness about the value of food and the need to avoid unnecessary waste.

The program concluded with a group photograph, capturing the joy and learning shared during this meaningful event. The ATC initiative successfully achieved its goal of giving back to the community and promoting healthy habits among young minds.
