The esteemed speaker for the session was Mr. Aman Raj Singh Parihar, a proud alumnus of the Postgraduate Department of Chemistry, St Agnes College. With experience in the chemical industry, having worked with renowned companies such as BASF, Mangalore, and Berger Nippon Paint Automotive Pvt Ltd, Delhi, Mr. Aman shared valuable insights with the students. Currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, after qualifying IELTS, Mr. Aman emphasized the importance of internships, value-added courses, and skill development in enhancing employability.
During the interactive session, Mr. Aman guided the students on preparing industry-ready CVs, networking options, and approaches to secure jobs in the chemical industry. He also provided tips on interview preparation, common challenges, and strategies to overcome them.
The webinar saw active participation from students of both the first and second years of MSc Chemistry. Dr. Sapna, Head of the Department of PG Chemistry, introduced Mr. Aman to the audience and welcomed the gathering.
