Dr Kirana Pailoor, Pathologist and Blood bank incharge, Father Muller Medical College Mangaluru addressed the gathering on the significance of blood donation. Sr Dr M Venissa A.C gave her presidential address. Sr Dr Maria Roopa A.C. inaugurated and declared the camp open.
Programme officer of Youth Red Cross Mrs Prajwal Rao, Programme Officer of NSS Unit Dr Uday Kumar, NCC officers Captain Gayathri B.K, ANO Army wing, Flying Officer Dr Hithakshi B, ANO Air Wing were the other dignitaries present on the dais.
Ms Ananya K welcomed the gathering. Ms Suhani proposed the vote of thanks. Ms Jane Sara George compered the program.
Ms Shreya Ravi N K, Youth Red Cross secretary, Mr Dan Charles, NSS secretary, CQMS Lipishree K, NCC Secretary and many enthusiastic blood donors were also present during the camp. The volunteers of NSS, NCC and Youth Red Cross rendered their service during the camp.
Students from other colleges, parents and well-wishers attended the programme and donated blood. Around 99 pints of blood was collected during the camp.
