A Blood Donation Camp was organized at St Agnes College Autonomous on 24th March 2026 by the NSS, Youth Red Cross (YRC), and NCC units in association with Father Muller Medical College. The camp was conducted at A4, Avila Block from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The programme aimed to create awareness about the importance of blood donation and to encourage students and staff to contribute to this noble cause. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.

The programme was graced by the presence of Vice Principal Sr. Dr. Roopa Rodrigues, who addressed the gathering and appreciated the initiative, emphasizing the importance of social responsibility among students.

The Chief guest for the camp was Dr. Charu Khosla, Assistant Professor in the Department of Immuno-hematology and Blood Centre (IHBT) at Father Muller Charitable Hospital. She has over 14 years of experience in this field and is a member of the Indian Medical Association and the Indian Red Cross Society. She shared valuable insights on voluntary blood donation and guided the participants throughout the process.

The programme was efficiently compered by Ms. Serena Saldanha secretary Youth Red Cross,  ensuring the smooth flow of the event.

A total of 64 units of blood were collected during the camp. Proper medical procedures and safety measures were strictly followed throughout the programme.

The event was successfully coordinated by the NSS Programme Officers, YRC Programme Officer, and NCC Officers. The camp concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all donors, organizers, and supporting staff for their contribution towards this meaningful cause.
