The Department of History organized a Career Guidance Programme for B.A. Students on 8 April, 2025. Dr Tara Rao U, Retired Associate Professor of History and Former Principal GFG College Kavoor was the Resource Person. Dr Rao briefed the students on the avenues and opportunities available for B. A. students and in particular students interested in pursuing a career in History, have a wide range of interesting areas of studies leading to shaping career as an Archaeologist, Epigraphist, Museum Curator, Documentary Writer and Producer, in the field of Journalism, ,Sports History Recorder, A Researcher ,in administrative services and a teaching career as a Professor of History. Dr Tara Rao motivated the students pursue higher education and expand their horizon of knowledge and shape the career of their interest. An interactive session was held with the students.
