Department of Political Science Celebrates Constitution Day 2025 with Awareness Talk on Psychological Resilience and Constitutional Principles

On November 26, 2025 — In observance of Constitution Day, the Department of Political Science organized a thought-provoking awareness session titled “The Role of Psychological Resilience in Upholding Constitutional Principles.” The event aimed to deepen understanding of the importance of mental strength in safeguarding the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution.

The session was featured with renowned resource person Dr. Hithakshi B, Head of the Department of Psychology at St. Agnes College, Mangaluru. Dr. Hithakshi shared insightful perspectives on how psychological resilience plays a vital role in promoting constitutional awareness and fostering a resilient society.

The program was coordinated under the guidance of staff coordinator Mrs Gayathri BK . The event was part of the ongoing efforts to foster constitutional values among students and staff, emphasizing the importance of mental resilience in upholding democratic principles.

The department expressed its gratitude to all 187 participants and speaker for their active engagement in making the event a success. The program concluded with a pledge to uphold the constitutional principles with resilience and integrity.
