The Post Graduate Department of Commerce, Centre for Post Graduate Studies and Research, St. Agnes College (Autonomous) organized a financial awareness program on Empowering Investors on July 30, 2025 (Wednesday) in the PG Auditorium. The session was led by Ms Deeksha Rao, CA Final aspirant and an Assistant Professor from A. J. Institute of Management, Mangaluru. The session started with a short prayer by Ms Kripa, II M.Com student.
Ms Rifah, II M.Com student welcomed the gathering. The aim of the session was to equip students with the knowledge and confidence to make informed financial decisions. The session focussed on educating investors about financial planning, risk management, and various investment options. The participant gained insights into regulatory framework and their rights and responsibilities. Dr Dolan Champa Banerjee, HOD, Department of M.Com handed over a token of gratitude to the resource speaker. 42 students attended the session.
