The event was graced by several distinguished faculty members and administrators. Sr. Dr. M. Venissa A.C., Principal and Sr. Dr. M. Vinora A.C., PG Coordinator enriched the event with their support and guidance. Mrs. Sheryl Preethika, the HOD of Department of MBA, Mrs. Panchajanyeswari M Achar the HOD of Department of MCA, Mr. Chaco P J and Mr. Roopesh Kumar, the Assistant Professor, Department of MBA and Ms. Vaishnavi Shenoy, Ms. Sweedle Dsouza, Ms. Shruthi D, Assistant Professors, Department of MCA.
The celebration began with the much-awaited Mr. and Ms. Fresher Contest. The participants showcased their confidence through a vibrant fashion walk, followed by an engaging Question-and-Answer round that tested their spontaneity and communication skills. After the Final Round, the contestants were evaluated by the esteemed judges, Mr. Melson Dsouza and Ms. Merin V. M.
The event was smoothly and enthusiastically compered by Athmika from II MBA, who maintained the flow of the Programme throughout. The ceremony began with a soulful prayer song led by Cliyon and team of II MBA. This was followed by a warm and heartfelt welcome speech delivered by Rashmi of II MCA, who greeted the new students on behalf of the senior batch.
Inspirational addresses were then delivered by Sr. Dr. M. Venissa A.C. who encouraged students to embrace new opportunities, friendships, and experiences. The cultural performances added charm to the event, beginning with an impressive dance drama by the MBA students, followed by an energetic dance performance by the MCA students. These performances highlighted the creativity, enthusiasm, and team spirit of the new batch. Fun-filled games conducted by Keerthana of II MBA brought excitement and interaction, allowing the juniors to bond and enjoy the day even more.
The MCA department’s segment of the Programme was addressed by Preetaish from II MCA, who motivated the students and welcomed them warmly into the department. The ceremony drew to a graceful close with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Arsh Baksh II MBA, who expressed gratitude to the management, faculty members, student organizers, performers, and participants for contributing to the success of Imperial IV.
From the MBA department, Lawrence and Sahana Poonja were crowned Mr. and Ms. Fresher, respectively, while Prajwal S Joshi K and Sanjana received the titles from the MCA department. The honours were graciously awarded by Sr. Dr. M. Vinora A.C., adding prestige to the celebration.
The Programme concluded with great enthusiasm and positivity, signifying a delightful and memorable start for the freshers as they embark on their academic and professional journey. The vibrant performances, warm interactions, and spirited participation added charm to the occasion, making Imperial IV a truly special and welcoming experience for every new member of the MBA and MCA.
