The resource person for the session was Ms. Pooja Nagesh, HR Manager, Glowlogic Solutions, Bangalore. She delivered an engaging and practical talk on career choices and how to achieve professional growth. She briefed the three avenues after graduation. Corporate sector opportunities, to be an entrepreneur or to pursue higher studies. She informed that degree is only the entry point, while success depends on acquiring relevant skills and practical knowledge.
She highlighted the importance of certificate courses, upgrading digital competencies by learning AI skills to remain competitive. She said currently around 2,50,000 AI applications available and mentioned the rapid expansion of AI-related opportunities. She also introduced some useful and easy-to-learn software tools that enhance productivity and employability.
She focussed on the essential life skills such as time, financial and stress management. She encouraged students to be proactive in learning and to continuously upgrade their capabilities beyond academic qualifications. The session was interactive bringing out changes from traditional accounts-related knowledge to AI-enabled corporate avenues.
The program concluded with the remarks given by Mrs. Shanthi Nazareth, who reinforced the importance of applying the insights gained, to focus on skill enhancement, and to prepare themselves for future career demands.
Ms. Sharmila and Ms. Soujanaya lead with the prayer song, Ms. Mariyam Shyma with the welcome and Ms. Kadeeja Nada proposed the vote of thanks. 37 of the students and two of the faculty benefitted from the session.
