Green Initiative

The students of III year BBA as a part of their ATC got a wonderful chance to visit Dakshin kannada higher primary school, Kodman Bantwal On 5th July 2025. We visited the school with a special purpose of planting saplings in and across the school area, which we were able to accomplish with the cooperation of the school headmistress and teachers to support this green initiative taken by the college and our students. The president of Grama Panchayat and retired officer of Canara Bank were also present and helped us to accomplish the plantation of saplings.

The journey to the school was so peaceful and the place where the school is located Is filled with serenity. The hospitality of the school headmistress and teachers was commendable

We had an uplifting interaction with children of the school, thier cute little smiles made our day indeed a beautiful feeling which cannot be described in words. The atmosphere was filled with tranquility where children learn with great enthusiasm. It was a whole new experience which made us realize how happy one can be by just doing a small, good deed and spending a little time with others away from our busy lives.

We are thankful for Sr Dr. M Venessa A. C, Principal St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangalore and Dr.Shailaja,Staff coordinator of ATC and Mrs.Archana (Dept of physics) Staff incharge of ATC for giving us this wonderful opportunity to visit the school.
