On July 4th, 2025, the Department of Business Administration organized a guest talk on Career Development for the students of 2nd MBA. Mr. Roger Matthew began the session by emphasizing the importance of being adaptable and skilful in an ever-changing job environment.
He guided the students on how to effectively search for jobs on Google without being shown sponsored ads. For example, to find roles under Accounts Receivables, one could simply search for “A/R jobs in Bangalore/Mangalore,” etc.
He also spoke about various job profiles students could apply for and highlighted the significance of having knowledge of SAP for these roles. Mr. Roger then gave a live demonstration of SAP software and explained how it is used by businesses in real-world scenarios.
He concluded the session by introducing the training courses available for students who are interested in up-skilling further
