The Department of Secretarial Practice organized an Industrial visit to Cocoa Rich Agri LLP, a Subsidiary of Cila Agro Tech Private Limited, located at Ganjimutt, Mangaluru on Friday, 19 December 2025. The visit gave a valuable insight into the large scale manufacturing of Cocoa powder of export quality. The officials of the company explained the stages of production and the importance of quality control, hygiene and maintaining the international standards in the food processing industry. The manufacturing unit has used the technology in an organized and systematic way from the entry till the products are been packed was impressive. Students observed the teamwork, coordination, commitment of the staff, and the company’s strong research and development team to maintain the product quality and innovation and also every entry is controlled and if required then, only by using PPE kit in order to maintain the product hygiene.
Practical exposure was informative, educative and memorable one. At the end of the visit students received a sachet of hot chocolate powder from the company. 47 of the students and 2 of the faculty were the beneficiary from this visit.
