On 21st June 2025, the Department of Clinical Psychology at St. Agnes Centre for Post Graduate Studies and Research, Mangaluru, observed International Yoga Day with the theme “Yoga for Self and Society,” aligning with the global focus “One Earth, One Health.” As part of the celebration, postgraduate students conducted six thematic sessions for various undergraduate departments, covering topics such as digital detox, self-identity, mindfulness, academic focus, sustainable living, and Ashtanga Yoga. The sessions blended theoretical understanding with experiential practices like breathing techniques, reflective activities, yoga postures, and guided meditations. A special session for clinical psychology postgraduate students was led by Dr. V. Premanand, focusing on yoga for emotional and mental well-being. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation, promoted holistic wellness, and highlighted yoga’s continuing relevance in enhancing both personal and societal well-being.
