To mark the 25th Anniversary of Victory in ‘Operation Vijay’, the Kargil War- National Cadet Corps (NCC) of St Agnes College(Autonomous), Mangaluru celebrated this victorious day in St Agnes College, which was held in the A4.This day is dedicated to honour the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces, who fought valiantly to reclaim territory in the Kargil district of Jammu and Kashmir. Dr R Nagesh, Ex-Serviceman, HOD, Department of Arts & Humanities was the Chief Guest on this occasion. The chief guest during his interactive session enlightened the students about his days of service, he also stressed on the resilience and valour of men is the cause for the celebration of KargilDiwas. The winners of the digital poster making competition were felicitated by the chief guest. Lt Gayathri B.K-ANO, Army Wing, Dr Hithakshi Anand of Air Wing were faculty incharge of the programme and Ms. Divya, Asst Professor, Psychology department was also present. 62 cadets were part of this programme.
