The Postgraduate Auditorium of St. Agnes College witnessed an insightful session titled “Leadership Drive: From Vision to Collaboration” on 12 August 2025, conducted for MBA and M.Com students. The resource person for the day was Mr. Prashanth Alison, an accomplished academician and Head of the Department of Commerce at MAPS College.

The programme commenced at 9:15 AM with Ms. Tiona, an II MBA student, serving as the Master of Ceremonies. The event began with a soulful prayer song rendered by Nicole and team, followed by a warm welcome and an introduction of the speaker by Ms. Vaishnavi, an MBA student.

Mr. Alison began his session with an engaging “fruit salad” analogy, encouraging students to embrace diversity and harmony in life. He delved into thought-provoking questions such as “Can everyone become a leader?” leading into a detailed discussion on the essential qualities of effective leadership.

Throughout the day, the speaker provided valuable tips on becoming a successful leader and emphasized the importance of vision, collaboration, and adaptability. Participants were divided into ten groups to engage in interactive activities, including case study analyses and light-hearted team games. These exercises were designed to foster teamwork, strengthen group cohesion, and develop conflict management skills.

The session concluded on an inspiring note, leaving participants with a clear understanding of leadership dynamics and practical strategies for team building. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Ms. Likitha, an MBA student, who expressed gratitude to the speaker, organisers, and participants for making the programme a success.
