The Department of Business Organization organized a seminar on MS Access and MS Excel for III BBA students to enhance skills in data management and analysis. The seminar on MS Access and MS Excel provided an insightful overview of two powerful Microsoft Office tools widely used for data management and analysis. The session of Ms. Jnana Kaveramma began with introduction to MS Excel, highlighting its capabilities in organizing data through spreadsheets, performing complex calculations using formulas, and creating visual representations like charts and graphs. Participants learned about key features such as pivot tables, conditional formatting, and data validation, which enhance data analysis and decision-making processes.
The seminar then shifted focus to MS Access, emphasizing its role as a database management system. Students were introduced to creating and managing relational databases, designing tables, queries, forms, and reports. The session covered the topics on the use of MS Access for creating tables, forms, queries, and reports in a relational database environment.
