3 August 2024: Talk on Preparation of Mad Ads
Ms. Derisha, a student from III B.Com ACCA, delivered an engaging and informative talk on the art and science of creating effective Mad Ads. She emphasized the importance of creativity, humor, and strategic messaging in crafting advertisements that grab attention. Drawing from real-world examples, Ms. Derisha explained how Mad Ads often employ exaggerated claims, humorous twists, and bold visuals to leave a lasting impression. Her talk also highlighted the principles of advertising and the psychological tactics behind Mad Ads that connect with audiences on a deeper level.
17 August 2024: Mad Ad Creation Session
Building on the insights from the talk, a Mad Ad Creation Session was organized where students were divided into teams. Each team was given the challenge of conceptualizing and creating their own Mad Ads using the principles discussed in the talk. The teams worked collaboratively, brainstorming ideas, designing visuals, and scripting ads that were humorous, innovative, and attention-grabbing.
The session encouraged students to apply creative thinking while also honing their teamwork and presentation skills. At the end of the session, each team presented their Mad Ads showcasing their unique approaches to humor and advertising strategy.
