The Postgraduate Departments of Business Administration (MBA) and Computer Applications (MCA) collaboratively organized an PGCET Coaching Programme on the 2nd and 3rd of June, 2025. The objective was to prepare students who are attempting for the Karnataka PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test), a crucial examination for postgraduate admissions. A total of 150 students actively participated in the two-day training. The programme commenced at 9:30 AM and was formally inaugurated by Mr. Abhilash Kshatriya, Director of Abhijinya Education Pvt. Ltd. and a certified coach, in the presence of the institution’s President, Sr Dr M Venessa AC. and PG Coordinator Sr M Vinora AC. Mr. Abhilash conducted an inspiring chief guest speech based on the concept “IMPROVE,” which emphasized personal growth and exam readiness. The session aimed to motivate students to improve their skills and mindset. As a gesture of appreciation, Sr M Vinora AC, the PG Coordinator, presented a token of gratitude to Mr. Abhilash. The inaugural programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Mallika Shetty.

Day 1 Highlights (2nd June 2025):

The day began with an inaugural function at 9:30 AM, where dignitaries welcomed the participants and introduced the objectives of the coaching programme.The first session from 10:15 to 11:45 AM focused on Reasoning and General Intelligence, conducted by Mr. Abhilash. This session helped students sharpen their logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, essential for competitive exams.

The second session from 12:00 to 1:30 PM was split into two: Quantitative Analysis for MBA students handled by Mr. Abhilash, and Mathematics for MCA students conducted by Mrs. Panchajanyeshwari. Both sessions enhanced numerical and analytical skills.After a lunch break, the third session ran from 2:30 to 4:00 PM, covering Proficiency in English Language by Mrs. Sheryl Preethika. It aimed to improve grammar, comprehension, and vocabulary for better performance in the language section of the PGCET.

Day 2 Highlights (3rd June 2025):

The day opened with a session from 9:30 to 11:00 AM on General Knowledge, delivered by Mr. Chaco P J. This session updated students on current affairs and static GK, both vital for competitive exams.After a short tea break, the final session from 11:15 AM to 12:45 PM focused on Computer Awareness, conducted by Mrs. Akshatha Shetty. This session provided basic to intermediate knowledge of computer concepts, which is an important part of the entrance test.
