The Department of Clinical Psychology, St. Agnes Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Research, in association with Navachethana Counselling Centre, organized a memory screening camp titled “MINDCARE 50+” on Sunday, April 27, 2025. The camp was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Malini Hebbar, Principal of Swastik National Business School, Mangaluru. Fifteen elderly participants attended the camp, where they underwent memory screening, engaged in memory-boosting exercises, and received psychoeducation on cognitive enhancement strategies. Awareness sessions on digital dementia and the impact of excessive digital device use on memory were also conducted. The camp aimed at early detection of memory-related concerns and promoting proactive measures for cognitive health among the elderly. MINDCARE 50+ stands as a testament to the Department’s ongoing commitment to promoting mental wellness and community engagement.
