The Department of Statistics of St. Agnes College organized a seminar on “Prof. Mahanalobis and his contribution and Statistics of Employment and Unemployment” on Google platform for the Statistics students by the resource persons Prof TPM Pakkala, Adjunct Professor Mangalore University and Mr. Manohar ISS, Deputy Director General, NSSO, Bangalore. Students got knowledge about official statistics, functioning of NSSO and the various method of collection of official data.
