As part of the National Science Day celebrations, the “Nature’s Crown” event was organized to highlight the beauty of nature through floral hair decoration. Held on 28th February 2025 from Department of Zoology at the Botany Lab, the event witnessed with enthusiastic participation from 13 teams (26 students) who showcased their creativity by designing stunning floral hairstyles. The event aimed to blend science with art, emphasizing the importance of natural elements in everyday life. Participants were given one hour to create their designs, using only real flowers, making the competition both challenging and exciting. The participants displayed remarkable innovation and artistic expression, crafting intricate and aesthetically pleasing floral arrangements. Some teams focused on traditional floral crowns, while others experimented with modern and abstract designs, incorporating diverse textures and colors. The competition not only tested their creativity but also their precision and teamwork. The use of fresh flowers added a natural and refreshing appeal to the event, making it a visual delight. Each team demonstrated unique ideas, turning simple flowers into elegant and stylish hair decorations. The competition was judged by Mrs. Divya Ma’am and Ms. Merin Ma’am, who carefully evaluated the designs based on creativity, neatness, and presentation. Their expertise in aesthetics and design helped in selecting the best works among the participants.
