On August 14, 2025, the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Army & Air Wing organized a comprehensive Life Skills Program titled “Building Responsibility and Resilience.” The primary objective of this initiative was to equip cadets with vital life skills that would enhance their personal growth, social responsibility, and overall character development.

Mr. Mayank Vaid, Assistant Commandant of the Indian Coast Guard, was the resource speaker. His presentation was both engaging and insightful, offering practical strategies for cultivating resilience and understanding the significance of responsibility across various facets of life. Mr. Vaid’s expertise and dynamic delivery greatly enriched the learning experience for the cadets.

A total of 96 cadets participated in the program, demonstrating their keen interest and commitment to self-improvement. The cadets actively engaged in discussions and interaction, which enhanced their understanding of the core themes. The program received positive feedback from the participants, who expressed increased motivation and awareness of their roles and responsibilities as future leaders.

The success of this initiative was made possible under the guidance of Lt. Gayathri B K, ANO Army Wing, and Flying Officer Dr. Hithakshi B, ANO Air Wing. Arun Kumar-Pradhan Navik, Jeetesh Faujdar-Pradhan Navik , Anoop-Uttam Navik from Indian Coast Guard were also present during the programme.

The NCC remains dedicated to organizing such programs to nurture confident, responsible, and resilient individuals who can contribute meaningfully to society.
