The event began with a brief introduction by the coordinator, who explained the purpose and rules of the activity. Students were invited to randomly select a topic related to women’s empowerment and speak about it for one to two minutes. The activity aimed to help students develop confidence, improve their public speaking abilities, and increase their awareness about important social issues related to women.
Various topics such as “Her Voice,” “Her Power,” “Women and Leadership,” and “Women in Society” were included in the activity. These themes encouraged students to reflect on women’s courage, resilience, achievements, and their contributions to family, community, and society.
Students from the Psychology department actively participated in the session. Each participant spoke confidently and shared meaningful ideas about women’s education, independence, equality, mental health, and their social contributions. The activity created a positive and supportive environment where students felt comfortable expressing their views and opinions.
The program successfully enhanced the communication skills, confidence, and social awareness of the participants. It also helped students understand the importance of gender equality and the role of empowered women in building a strong and progressive society.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Psychology Forum, Women’s Cell, faculty members, and students for their enthusiastic participation and support.
Overall, the “Pick and speak” activity was informative, engaging, and successful in spreading the message that strong women lead to a stronger and better world.
