The Spirituality Committee organized a Pookalam Competition on 12th September 2025 at 2:15 pm near the Administrative Block as part of the Onam celebration. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 7 teams, each comprising 4 participants, who showcased their creativity and cultural spirit.
The teams were given a time limit of one hour to design their Pookalams. The vibrant arrangements, made with fresh flowers, reflected traditional designs as well as innovative patterns, bringing out the festive essence of Onam. The competition not only highlighted artistic skills but also promoted teamwork and a sense of cultural belonging among the students.
The event was judged by a panel of judges based on creativity, design, neatness, color combination, and overall presentation. The competition ended successfully, and the results were announced on the day of the Onam celebration. The winners were as follows:
- First Prize: Aastha, Solita, Jeeya, Valenteena – 2 BCOM (Prof)
- Second Prize: Harshini, Shrinethi, Ananya, Thrisha V N – 3 BCOM (Prof)
- Third Prize: Reshal Quadros, Adithi Kamath, Asta, Prarthana – 1 BCA
