The Programme began with a warm welcome address delivered by Samuel of Final B.Com, who introduced the Resource person, Mr. CA Shravan Kumar B, Founder of SKBCO.
Mr. Shravan Kumar delivered an insightful presentation covering the changes in GST rates, updates in e-filing procedures, and their practical implications for taxpayers and businesses. He also motivated students by sharing entrepreneurial ideas with lower GST implications such as start-ups, pearl making, and manufacturing badminton shuttlecocks. Furthermore, he illustrated several daily-use products where GST rates have recently been reduced, helping students understand the real-world impact of tax reforms.
Students actively engaged in the session and expressed that it was highly informative and useful for their academic and professional development, where 78 students participated and benefited from the program. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Khushi of Final B.Com, who expressed gratitude to the resource person, faculty, and students for making the event successful.
