The Department of Commerce, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, organised a valuable industrial visit for both first and second-year B.Com. students on 6 March 2024. A total of 362 students, accompanied by five esteemed faculty members, embarked on a journey of learning and exploration, visiting two distinct industrial establishments – Master Flannery, Puttur and Bonda Factory, Adyar.

During this immersive experience, students delved into the intricate processes of manufacturing, witnessing firsthand the operations involved in packaging and transportation. Moreover, they gained insights into the ingenious utilization of process residues, further augmenting their understanding of industrial sustainability.

This industrial visit served as an invaluable opportunity for students to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Through engaging demonstrations, interactive sessions, and the exchange of information, participants were able to enrich their understanding and glean essential insights that will undoubtedly contribute to their future career endeavors.
