The session featured two distinguished alumni as speakers. Dr. Sandhyakamala Alagade, an Academic Writing Coach, led the primary discussion on academic writing techniques, sharing her expertise and experience with attendees to help them excel in scholarly writing and research. Complementing her presentation, Ms. Yajusha, a PhD Scholar at MISHA, MAHE, Manipal, conducted a practical session on “Citing with Ease: Using Mendeley for Referencing in Research.” This segment provided students with hands-on training in the use of modern reference management tools, emphasizing Mendeley’s applications in simplifying the citation process and maintaining rigorous standards in research documentation.
