The PG Department of MBA and MCA, St. Agnes College (Autonomous), Centre for Post Graduate Studies and Research, Mangalore, organized a heartfelt farewell programme Sayonara for the outgoing 2nd year MBA and MCA students on September 27, 2025. The event, hosted by the 1st year MBA and MCA students, took place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Centenary Block Seminar Hall.

The programme commenced with a soulful prayer song rendered by Cliyon and team, invoking blessings. This was followed by a graceful welcome dance performed with elegance, symbolizing the spirit of celebration and gratitude. Sandra (MBA) on behalf of the organizing committee, extended a warm welcome to the gathering, setting the tone for the memorable morning.

Sr. Dr. M. Venessa A.C., Principal of St. Agnes College, then addressed the gathering with an inspiring message. She also administered the oath to the outgoing batch, reminding students of their responsibility to uphold the values of integrity, leadership, and service as they step into the professional world. Her words of encouragement served as a guiding light for the graduating students.

The highlight of the programme was the sharing of experiences by the outgoing students. Vinsten (MBA) and Raksha (MCA) expressed heartfelt gratitude to the institution, mentors, and peers, recalling cherished memories of their academic journey reflecting on their leadership experiences, treasured friendships, and the nurturing environment provided by the department. Adding to the emotional essence of the day, Arsh, Vice President of MBA, and Rashmi, Vice President of MCA, also shared their reflections and conveyed warm wishes to the seniors, appreciating the bond and guidance received from them.

To further enliven the farewell, a melodious musical performance was presented, beautifully capturing the emotions of parting and togetherness. The programme was seamlessly compered by Athmika (MBA) and Spoorthi (MCA), who kept the audience engaged with their charm and enthusiasm throughout the event.

A vote of thanks was proposed by Sinchana (MCA), who acknowledged the tireless efforts of the faculty, staff, and students in making the event a grand success. The farewell concluded with the singing of the College Anthem, filling the hall with a sense of unity, pride, and nostalgia.

The occasion was marked by joy, laughter, emotions, and reflection. It not only celebrated the achievements of the outgoing batch but also strengthened the bond between juniors and seniors.
