The Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Research at St. Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangalore, organized a workshop titled “Shape the Future with Generative AI” on January 16, 2025. The session was designed to enhance students’ understanding of generative AI, with a focus on prompt engineering and practical AI applications.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Abhishek K N, CEO of A and M Edu Solutions, who served as the resource speaker. The event began with a prayer song by Ms. Raksha and team, followed by a welcome address and speaker introduction by Mr. Gibson, a second-year MBA student. The program was coordinated by Dr. Mallika Shetty and Ms. Vaishnavi, faculty members from the MBA and MCA departments. Ms. Bindiya, a second-year MCA student, served as the Master of Ceremony.

Through a live demonstration, the speaker illustrated how prompts influence ChatGPT responses, and showed image generation using DALL·E. An interactive quiz activity allowed students to engage directly with the technology, reinforcing key learning points.
Mr. Abhishek emphasized the increasing demand for AI literacy in the corporate world and provided practical tips on using AI tools for tasks such as resume writing, presentations, and problem-solving. He also highlighted real-world applications like virtual assistants, customer service bots, and creative content generation.
The session concluded with a Q&A segment, followed by a vote of thanks by Ms. Nicole from second-year MBA. Students gave positive feedback, appreciating the session’s relevance, clarity, and practical focus.
