The Department of MBA, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Centre for Postgraduate Studies & Research, Mangaluru, successfully organized a series of engaging and creative competitions for UG students under the title “Splash of Colours 3.0” on 4th February 2026. The main objective of the fest was to provide students with a platform to showcase their talents in marketing, creativity, teamwork, communication, and artistic skills.
Students actively participated with great enthusiasm, making the day lively and competitive. All events were conducted smoothly under the effective coordination of event heads, assistant heads, and judges, ensuring proper organization and fair evaluation.
Event Details:
1. The Vogue Ledger (Pitch Palette)
The Marketing Event was conducted in LH7 room from 1:50 PM to 3:50 PM, with the participation of 9 teams. The competition focused on encouraging students to develop innovative marketing ideas and test their business strategy and presentation skills.
The event was organized under the guidance of Event Head Princiline from 2nd MBA and Assistant Event Head Sahana Poonja from 1st MBA. The judging panel included Mrs. Dolan and Mrs. Kavyashree, who evaluated the teams based on creativity, marketing strategy and planning, communication skills, and presentation quality. The event provided students with valuable exposure to real-world marketing scenarios and helped enhance their confidence and strategic thinking.
2. Symphony of Shades (Mandala Art)
The Mandala Art Competition titled “Symphony of Shades” was held in LH8 from 2:15 PM to 3:15 PM, with 7 participants showcasing their artistic talents.
The event was coordinated by Event Head Vaishnavi Shetty from 2nd MBA and Assistant Event Head Bhavishya J. K from 1st MBA. The competition was judged by Ms. Joylene. Participants created detailed mandala designs that reflected patience, creativity, and excellent colour harmony. The judging criteria included theme relevance, colour combination and harmony, and creativity and originality. The competition provided a calm yet competitive atmosphere for artistic expression.
3. Khoj- The Retro Edition (Treasure Hunt)
The Treasure Hunt was one of the most exciting and energetic event. First round was conducted on 03-02-2026 with 16 teams participants. The quiz-based elimination round was conducted in LH8 from 3:45 PM to 4:30 PM, where teams were tested on their knowledge and quick thinking. Based on their performance, 6 teams qualified for the final round, which was scheduled for the next day that is on 04-02-2026.
The final round was held in LH7 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The event was successfully managed by Event Head Athmika from 2nd MBA and Assistant Event Head Bhoomika from 1st MBA. The competition tested students logical thinking, teamwork, speed, accuracy, and time management skills as they solved clues and completed tasks. The Treasure Hunt encouraged coordination and team spirit among participants and created a highly enthusiastic atmosphere.
4. Echoes of Pop (T-Shirt Painting)
The T-Shirt Painting Competition titled “Echoes of Pop” was conducted in LH01 from 1:40 PM to 2:40 PM, with the participation of 5 teams. The event was led by Event Head Kreethana from 2nd MBA and Assistant Event Head Thasma Rai from 1st MBA. The competition was judged by Mr. Roopesh. Participants designed creative and colourful T-shirts based on the given theme, showcasing their imagination and artistic skills. The judging criteria included creativity, originality, and relevance to the theme. The event created a joyful atmosphere where students expressed their ideas through fashion and art.
The Splash of Colours 3.0 was concluded successfully with excellent participation and coordination. Each event gave students the opportunity to explore their talents beyond academics and develop important skills such as confidence, creativity, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. The combined efforts of the organizing committee, event heads, assistant heads, and judges ensured the smooth execution of all competitions.
