On the occasion of Konkani Manyata Diwas, the Konkani Sangh of St Agnes College (Autonomous) organized the St Agnes Konkani Kogol Solo and Duet Singing Competition. The event, held on 13 August 2024, was open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.The competition featured solo and duet singing categories and was judged by Sr Linet AC, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, and Mrs. Helen Serrao, Science Dean.
In the Solo Singing category, Abigail Crasta from 2nd B.Com secured first place, while Krishal Pinto from 3rd B.Com achieved second place. In the Duet Singing category, Fiona and Wineva from 2nd B.Com (ACCA) won first place, with Fencita and Samantha from 3rd B.Com (CMA) taking second place. The event highlighted Konkani culture and provided a platform for students to display their musical talents.
