The Student Cabinet Orientation for the academic year 2025–2026 was held for two days – 27th and 28th June 2025 – bringing together the newly elected student leaders for a journey of reflection, preparation, and growth. The orientation commenced on June 27th with a prayer, setting a tone of gratitude and purpose. Vice Principal Sr Dr Roopa Rodrigues A.C. delivered the inaugural session, emphasizing that true leadership is rooted in integrity, empathy, and shared values, stressing presence and sincerity over status.

Following this, Dr Kavyashree led an interactive session titled “Together We Grow, Together We Solve.” Her focus was on the importance of teamwork, trust, and conflict resolution, utilizing engaging group activities and reflections to highlight the role of collaboration and communication in overcoming challenges. The first day concluded with Ms Privy D’Souza, the previous Student President (2024–2025), who spoke on “Leading with Purpose, Growing as a Student, Rising as a Leader.” Her insights encouraged the new leaders to reflect on their individual growth and resilience.

Day Two, June 28th, began with Mrs Akshatha Shetty’s powerful session, “Conquer Your Attitude.” She challenged the students to cultivate a mindset of responsibility, positivity, and discipline, reinforcing that a leader’s attitude is paramount.

The Principal, Sister Dr. M. Venessa AC, delivered a grounding address, reminding the cabinet of the honor and responsibility associated with their positions. She spoke clearly about the importance of accountability, consistency, and value-driven actions.

The latter half of the second day was dedicated to detailed action plan presentations by each cabinet member, outlining their goals, event ideas, and thematic focuses. With guidance from both the Principal and Vice Principal, plans were refined to be more student-centric, inclusive, and aligned with the college’s vision.

Over the two-day program, the student leaders not only gained insights into effective leadership but also forged stronger connections, recognized the responsibility of service, and felt better prepared to lead with purpose. The orientation reinforced the idea of teamwork and mutual support within the cabinet, mentored by faculty and trusted by peers. The cabinet now looks forward to leading, serving, and growing together in the year ahead.
