The postgraduate department of Big Data Analytics organized an interdepartmental youthfest, “TARUNOTHSAVA 2K25”, on August 07, 2025. The fest brought together the students of St. Agnes College Mangalore to showcase their talents. The fest was inaugurated by the PG Coordinator Sr Dr M. Vinora A.C. and the Dean of postgraduate studies Dr Kavyashree K. B. In her inaugural address, the PG Coordinator highlighted the importance of engaging in cultural and technical activities in addition to classroom learning for overall development, improved performance and contribution to society.
Participants from the undergraduate and postgraduate departments at St. Agnes College enthusiastically participated in the fest. The fest included four competitions: Alekhan (poster designing), Rupa Rekha (face painting), Punar Roopa (best out of waste) and Tatva Tarang (group dance). The poster of the forthcoming hackathon competition, CIFRA 2K25 was also released during the youthfest. The student coordinators of the fest were Ahsayad from second year and Bhavishya from first year MSc Big Data Analytics under the guidance of faculty coordinator Ms. Relisha Dsouza and the student president of the department Farvez Akthar D. K. The valedictory programme included felicitating the winners of the competitions.
