She then called upon the prayer team and after the prayer, Dr Mallika Shetty was escorted to her seat on the stage. The Head of Commerce department, Mrs Vineetha gave a floral welcome to the guest speaker, showing an immense pleasure and gratitude towards her.
Dr Mallika Shetty greeted the audience with humor to lighten the mood and start off on a good note. She started with her experience in Hyderabad, then proceeded to speak on the topic of the workshop with the help of a presentation. She interacted with the audience and spoke about having a startup mindset. The speaker commented on the difference between entrepreneur and startups. Followed by a few logos presented to the audience to identify after which she spoke for a while about the several problems around us and the entrepreneurial solutions to them.
She showed three startups/entrepreneurs started by young adults who presented their startups at Shark Tank India.
Redefining the problems was the next topic of discussion followed by what a startup mindset was. Design thinking was another topic she touched upon. Towards the end of the session, an episode of the Shark Tank India show was displayed to the audience where a 20 year old student presented his entrepreneurial idea and the outcome of it.
