The PG Department of Business Administration, St. Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, organized a training session on the Tracxn Database for the MBA students on 17th November 2025. The objective of the session was to familiarize students with the use of a professional research and analytics platform that is widely used in the fields of business, entrepreneurship, and market analysis. The resource person for the session was Mr. Raghavendra R, Founder of TechGadi, Bengaluru, who brought valuable industry experience and practical insights to the training.

The programme began with a brief welcome by Pramila Lobo from II MBA, who greeted the gathering and introduced the speaker. Mr. Raghavendra then provided an overview of the Tracxn platform, explaining its purpose, structure, and relevance in academic research. He demonstrated the various features of the database, including how to search for companies, analyze startup ecosystems, track funding activities, and study industry-specific trends. His step-by-step walkthrough helped students understand how the platform can be effectively used for assignments, project work, case studies, and presentations.

Throughout the session, he highlighted the importance of data-driven decision-making and encouraged students to utilize the Tracxn database to enhance their research and analytical skills. Real-time examples and live demonstrations made the session engaging and informative for the participants. The students gained clarity on how such databases can support their academic growth as well as future professional pursuits.

The session concluded with an expression of gratitude to Mr. Raghavendra R for his time, effort, and valuable contribution. Mrs. Sheryl Preethika (HOD–MBA), Dr. Mallika B. Shetty, Mr. Chaco P.
