The workshop focused on equipping student trainers with essential soft skills required to effectively conduct training sessions for their peers in other institutions. Emphasizing the theme “Train, Transform, Transmit,” the session guided students to first develop themselves and then confidently share their knowledge with others.
Key areas covered during the workshop included:
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Leadership and team coordination
- Confidence building and stage presence
- Managing group dynamics during training sessions
The session was interactive and activity-based, involving role plays, discussions, and practical demonstrations. Special emphasis was given to the responsibility of student trainers as representatives of the institution during extension activities.
A total of 16 students participated in the workshop and actively engaged in all sessions. The participants gained valuable insights and practical exposure, which will help them conduct soft skills training programmes for students of other colleges.
The workshop successfully achieved its objective of preparing student trainers for outreach activities. It concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the resource person for her valuable guidance and to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement.
