The career guidance session titled “Unlock Your Potential: Career Paths with CMA” was successfully conducted on 26th February 2026 at 9:00 AM onwards in A2. The session was organised by Miles Education in collaboration with the Department of Commerce, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, with the objective of creating awareness among students about the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) professional qualification and the wide range of career opportunities associated with it.

All CMA, B.Com and BBA students attended the session and actively participated throughout the programme. The resource person, Mr. Durgaprasad Sapaliga, CMA, Senior Trainer at Miles Education, delivered an insightful and engaging session highlighting the global recognition of the CMA qualification, its relevance in the modern corporate environment, and the diverse career paths available in finance, accounting, management, analytics, consulting, and leadership roles. He also explained how CMA can be effectively integrated with undergraduate programmes like B.Com and BBA to strengthen academic learning and professional competence.

The session provided students with clarity on career planning, professional certifications, industry expectations, and long-term career growth in the finance and management sectors. Students interacted actively with the speaker and clarified their doubts regarding course structure, preparation strategy, and career prospects. The programme was highly informative, motivating, and impactful, helping students understand the importance of professional qualifications in building a successful career.

The session concluded successfully with positive feedback from the participants. The active involvement of all CMA, B.Com and BBA students made the programme meaningful and effective. The initiative contributed significantly to career orientation and professional development, aligning with the institution’s objective of holistic student growth.
