On 4th August 2023 at 2:30 pm, St Agnes College (Autonomous) Mangaluru hosted a Sapling Distribution Programme as part of the Save Earth project. This noteworthy initiative was organized by the Department of Psychology, NSS Units, and ATC, in collaboration with UDAYAVANI. The event, celebrating the institution’s dedication to environmental preservation, featured distinguished guests such as Sri Madhava D Ullal, Sri Naveen D Padil, and Sri Venu Vinod. The programme began with a heartfelt prayer song performed by NSS volunteer Avanish Nayak, followed by a warm welcome from Sammitha MP.
Among the dignitaries on the dais were Principal Sr Dr. M Venissa AC, Dr. Shailaja HG (Convener ATC), Dr. Uday Kumar, Dr. Meera (NSS Programme Officers), and Mrs. Vinatha K (HOD of Psychology). Ms. Privy D’Souza compered the event.
