The Post Graduate Department of Commerce, Centre for Post Graduate Studies and Research, St. Agnes College (Autonomous) organized a workshop on Animation Techniques for the students of M.Com on August 20, 2025 from 11:00 A.M onwards in the Big Data Analytics Lab. The session was graced by the presence of the PG Coordinator, Sr Dr M Vinora A. C, and the Head of the Department of M.Com Dr Dolan Champa Banerjee.
The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Chetan Kotian, Assistant Professor, Department of Animation, who shared his expertise on the subject. He introduced the students to various animation techniques that can be applied in both photo editing and video editing. The session included practical demonstrations of adding effects, transitions, and other creative elements to make work more appealing and innovative.
The workshop proved to be very insightful and engaging, as it provided students valuable practical exposure to tools that are highly useful in academics as well as professional careers. Students appreciated the session as it opened new avenues to enhance their creativity and presentation skills.
Overall, the workshop was an enriching experience, and the participants expressed their eagerness to implement these techniques in their future projects and careers.
