The IQAC of St. Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organized a Workshop on Bibliometrics and Science mapping to conduct Literature Review for the faculties of BCom, BBA, BCA, BA and the PG Departments on the 2 January 2019. The Resource person was Dr Amitabh Anand, Assistant Professor, SKEMA, France.
He explained the working of SCOPUS database and how to extract metadata from it. Through suitable examples he illustrated the applications of VOSViewer a free software that would easily help with literature review of seminal text and emerging trends in the field of interest.
Dr Ita D’Souza, IQAC Convenor welcomed and introduced the speaker, Mrs Marina Pinto, IQAC Secretary proposed the Vote of thanks and Dr Hithakshi compered the programme.
