On 14th January 2026, the Department of Clinical Psychology organized an Alumni Engagement Program featuring Ms. Amal Ahamed and Ms. Daania, alumni of the 2022–2024 batch, who interacted with current students to share their academic and professional experiences during the Master’s program.
During the session, the alumni emphasized the importance of attending workshops, seminars, and conferences for skill enhancement, exposure, and professional networking. They reflected on their experiences in the Master’s program, highlighting what helped them the most, including active participation in academic activities, consistent supervision, self-reflection, and gaining hands-on work experience alongside coursework.
The speakers also discussed important dos and don’ts during the Master’s journey, stressing the need for time management, openness to feedback, ethical practice, and maintaining personal well-being while balancing academic and clinical responsibilities. They encouraged students to seek learning beyond classrooms while being mindful of burnout and self-care.
The session was interactive and engaging, providing valuable guidance, motivation, and practical strategies for students to make the most of their training in clinical psychology.
