Write-up about the programme:

On the afternoon of April 30th, the 1st-year MBA batch organized a fun-filled team-building afternoon for both the junior and senior students on behalf of the Department of Business Administration (MBA). The activity kicked off at 2:00 PM at the Open-Air Stage, where students split into teams of about 7 to 10 members.

They lined up a series of challenges that tested everyone’s patience, steady hands, and ability to work under pressure. The lineup included: Citrus Chain- The classic lemon-and-spoon race. This was a great icebreaker that required a lot of focus; White Rush: Teams had to pass flour using cards held in their mouths to fill up a cup as fast as possible. Liquid Link: A test of speed and coordination where teams raced to fill a glass with water; Glass Relay: This round required teams to pass paper cups using only straws held in their mouths. And to wrap things up on a high note, they moved from team play to an individual game of Housie, which was a big hit for some final “just-for-fun” competition.

Mrs Sheryl Preethika, Head of the Department, Dr Mallika Shetty, Mr Chaco P J, Mr Roopesh Kumar and Ms Joylene Lobo, Assistant Professors of MBA Department were all present for the engaging series of events.

By the end of the games, three teams stood out for their great teamwork and quick thinking. They were rewarded with chocolates for their efforts. The event wrapped up at 4:00 PM. Before heading out, the organizing team made sure to do a final sweep and clean up the venue, leaving the stage exactly how we found it. Overall, it was a fantastic break from the usual academic grind and a great way for the two batches to bond.
