Admission Enquiry
The students of Nutrition and Health Education, Second Year and Final Year, visited the Bonda Factory, Adyar, Mangalore on 6th February 2026 as part of their academic curriculum, accompanied by faculty Ms. Prima Ferrao and Ms. Akshatha R Sanil. The group reached the factory at around 10:30 a.m. with the objective of gaining practical exposure to food processing and manufacturing practices.

During the visit, the factory personnel explained the complete processing and packaging of Bonda juice, including raw material sourcing, cleaning, extraction, processing, pasteurization, and hygienic packaging. Emphasis was given to quality control measures, food safety standards, and proper labeling practices followed in the industry.

The students were also briefed about the ice cream manufacturing process. It was explained that the ice cream is processed at their main unit in Mumbai and then transported to different regions for distribution. Information regarding the franchise system, supply chain, and storage practices was also shared.

Overall, the industrial visit was informative and educational, enabling students to understand the practical application of food processing concepts and enhancing their knowledge of the food industry.
