The Chem Aura Association, Department of Chemistry, Centre for Post Graduate Studies and Research, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru had organized the ‘Chem Quiz’ competition on 24 March 2021. All students were divided into 5 groups named as Berkelium, Tennessine, Praseodymium, Samarium & Dysprosium. It had 5 rounds i.e. First round was ‘in to the chem’ – which included general questions on chemistry, Second round was ‘coffee with periodic table’ – it had questions based on periodic table, Third round ‘meet the scientiest’ – it was about identifying the photos of famous scientiests, Fourth round ‘name the reaction’- it was about naming the organic reactions, Fifth round ‘rapid fire’- it had 14 questions on general topics. The quiz was won by the third team “Praseodymium”.
