An educational and recreational tour was organized from February 2 to February 5, 2026 for students to visit the hill stations of Kodaikanal and Munnar. The journey began on the evening of February 2, 2026 from Talapady, where all participants gathered and departed for Kodaikanal by bus. The overnight journey created excitement among the students as they looked forward to exploring new places and enjoying time with their friends. The trip was planned to give students a break from their regular academic routine while allowing them to experience the beauty of nature and the environment of the Western Ghats.

The group arrived at Kodaikanal on the morning of February 3, 2026. After reaching the destination, students checked into the hotel, freshened up, and had breakfast before beginning the sightseeing activities. The pleasant climate and beautiful surroundings made the experience even more enjoyable. The group visited several popular attractions such as Moir Point, Pine Forest, Green Valley View, and Pillar Rocks, where students enjoyed the scenic landscapes and took photographs. After lunch, the sightseeing continued with visits to Kodaikanal Lake and Coaker’s Walk, where students enjoyed the peaceful environment and the panoramic views of the hills.

Early the next morning on February 4, 2026, the group checked out of the hotel at around 4:00 AM and began the journey toward Munnar. Breakfast was arranged on the way while traveling through scenic mountain roads and waterfalls. The journey itself was enjoyable as students admired the natural beauty along the route. After arriving in Munnar, the group began sightseeing immediately, visiting attractions such as Echo Point, Hill Top View, Tea Plantation, Tea Factory, Mattupetty Dam, Top Station, and Rose Garden. These locations allowed students to learn about tea cultivation and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys.

Lunch was arranged during the sightseeing schedule, and the group continued exploring the beautiful landscapes of Munnar. Everyone participated enthusiastically in the activities, making it one of the most memorable moments of the trip. After dinner, the group began the overnight return journey to Mangalore.

The group reached near Mangalore and Talapady in the early morning of February 5, 2026, marking the successful completion of the tour. The trip provided students with an opportunity to explore the natural beauty of two famous hill stations and experience the unique environment of the Western Ghats. It also helped strengthen friendships, encourage teamwork, and create unforgettable memories among the participants. Overall, the tour was both enjoyable and educational, leaving everyone with a refreshing and memorable experience.
